Here comes the boring part.
Glaswegian born and bred, I have lived in Rutherglen
for most of my life. I have tried to escape many times
to places like USA, Costa Rica and Spain but can't seem
to stay away for long, even when the weather's getting
me down!
 When
I'm not creating brilliant works of art on canvas, or
at least I like to think so, I'm creating them on the
Internet through web design at a reasonable price (check
out the link on the contacts page).

If you haven't figured it out by now.
Check out the Services page on this site. It displays the
full process from start to finish using a famous Glasgow
landmark. I'm able to create works using a variety of colours
and sizes. Browse to my gallery for previous paintings that
I have done, designs that can be made and get a better idea
of the kind of work that I do.

Where the magic happens.
My first attempt at painting in the double gradient style turned out surprisingly well. You'll see how it turned out in my gallery page. It is of me at a family wedding. I chose brown and cream colours as it fits in well with the decoration of my studio. I purchase a few canvases at a time so that I am guaranteed to have one when needed. I also have a stock of acrylic paints in many colours.
From dream to reality.
When a design idea has been confirmed I then sketch out your design onto the canvas ready to be painted. To ensure quality I always put two coats of paint on each canvas. The last and most important thing to know about my studio is music. Sorting out the playlist for painting is top priority in my studio.

Painting...obviously!
I've always loved art and will pick up a pencil to sketch something that inspires me. I have a Flickr page on Yahoo that displays some of my pencil drawings.
Travelling, as I said, I always seem to find my way back home. My record so far is being on 15 different planes in one year, which was in 2007. You may be confused about the figure being an odd number but I actually jumped out of one of them in New York. Fortunately the parachute opened and I landed safely. Here is a picture of a very nervous man before being launched out of a plane at 10,000 feet.
